"Enjoyed our stay. Clean, organized, and fully equipped. There are many excellent hikes available to Refugios, church, etc. We hiked to a beautiful mountain church with a great view of the lake. Parking is in a lower parking lot with a short up hill walk."

"The views are truly incredible, and it’s nice that this is not in fact in Varenna, but a steep drive up in the village of Perledo. A car is needed. There are no good restaurants close by, and there is a basic grocery store walking distance. Not that difficult to manage to be honest. The wifi is like third world - basically unusable. The facilities are fairly basic. I’d give the place 5 stars if if it cost half the price. But at this price, it is a very expensive for what you get."

"Thank you for a perfect stay. From the amazing view of the mountains and lake to the cafe for coffee and pastry in the morning and Rocco Pom for dinner. We wanted a place with a city-feel while quaint small town Italy. Hard to find, this was it. The apartment has everything. Super clean. Close drive to shopping. Perfect!"

"No heat in apartment! 40 degrees outside…seemed like 40 degrees inside! Owner promised to turn on heat “remotely” but didn’t. He knew heater wasn’t working. We checked out the next morning at 9am. We couldn’t take the cold! Owner still charged us for the second day."

"This is a beautiful home with a perfect location. The host made sure we were comfortable and provided a super clean home for us."

"Two weeks spent in the Valtellina at the height of summer. The house was ideally situated for exploring the various different small valleys that lead to the high mountains encircling the valtellina. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood with little or no distractions. Everything in the house was as expected and we echo the recommendation to eat at the rifugio Mello."

"Elisabetta and Roberto were good hosts with lots of useful information about places to explore, eat, trek etc. Our teens enjoyed the table tennis, mini football pitch and trampoline at the house. Take the chance to eat at La Madonnina (we walked up and back one evening) for stunning views and good food, the Rifugio Martina was good for views and food too (it’s possible to do a 4-5hour trek from Barni up to the ridge and along to Monte San Primo then down to eat at the rifugio (more bistro than...
