"Stayed in private en suite room , suited my needs was only there to sleep really though the big Smart tv was nice to have. They do not allow eating and drinking in the rooms tho there is an area that people can use for this. Location was good walkable to train station, close to bus for airport and Cita Alta. Plenty of eating options close by. "

"Matteo was an excellent host. Super friendly and helpful. We went to Bergamo for a small little hiking holiday. Matteo suggested some routes and also some sightseeing opportunities in the area. At first we didn't select the dinner option, but after arriving late, we figured let's do the first night....and then we had dinner every night! "Everything about the house is fantastic with great views across Lake Como. The hosts, Danielle and Marco were flgreat and greeted us upon arrival. We were very spoilt with a bottle of bubbly and delicious snacks. The house was a little further out of Varenna than we thought, but we love to walk and we think we left fitter than when we arrived. We would definitely recommend staying at El Lavandee."
