"We loved this hotel. The decor and styling was beautiful. The room was comfortable and the bed good. We dined in the restaurant one evening. The food was great and they were very accommodating of my husband's garlic allergy. The only downside, which I think is a reflection of me not the hotel, was that I hadn't realised how much I like coming back to a clean, made up room at the end of the day. "Excellent location if you have a car. Not good if need public transportation. Bus service is bad on weekends especially Sunday. We waited 40 minutes for a bus on Sunday. We had to use taxis which were quite expensive. "

"Perfectly located near the city centre. Very clean and tidy, perfect for a quick stop over in the city or even longer stays to base yourself out of. Reasonably easy parking in the lots nearby which you can park in overnight. "

"Really great hotel! Quiet allowing you to peacefully sleep. Lots of great food places nearby. It’s near a shopping centre which is great if you want to do some basic shopping. Above all, there’s easy parking nearby. You do have to pay but for a weekend trip it’s great as it’s free from P3 (which is one of the parking zones)"

"We chose to stay here because we stayed here the last time we visited Reykjavik and really liked the hotel. It is well positioned for the centre and the harbour area. It is clean and comfortable and the buffet breakfast is excellent. Bus stop 5 is just across the road so it is also very convenient for trips out of Reykjavik. "
