"The house was adorable and perfect for our relaxed little family of four and fur kids. We are easy going and really don’t need too much. With that said it was a rainy weekend and the walk from our vehicle to the house was extremely wet, socks, shoes, bottom of pants soaked. A nice little stepping stone walkway would be awesome. "Overall a great stay. Small kitchen, but that wasn't a concern for us. We used and enjoyed the hot tub. For some parties it may be an issue that you have to talk through one bedroom to get to the other."

"The cabin was amazing, cozy and private. My only suggestions would be to provide bug spray or citronella candles. Bugs weren't crazy but those tiny mosquitoes were such an annoyance. As long as we kept moving, which we did, we weren't bothered. The properties little trails were fun, lots of surprises and areas we could sit and meditate for short periods. "This was our second time staying at Brenda & Butch's gorgeous cabin perched above the South Fork Eel river. Previously we visited during the summer and staying for the New Years holiday was a drastically different but equally amazing experience! It had rained for days prior and the river was absolutely huge and such a sight to see, each day after the rain stopped we loved watching the river recede and expose rocks, trees and shoreline.
