"Loved the ocean view. Slept with the door open just to hear the waves crashing on shore. Room was generous and comfortable. Like that there was a walking trail right out the back of the building. "

"It was expensive, but had a good ocean view. (Better from second floor than from first.). Very clean, updated room. The bathroom, however, leaves a bit to be desired. If you want a modern, updated bathroom, don’t stay here. The room got very warm and we did not know how to cool it off other than opening the sliding glass door at night. Also, our towels were not refurbished. The tv was very big, but the stations were weird. But it is a lovely location and, except for the slight caveats above, a very nice, clean, comfortable room"

"This property is huge! The exterior, you can tell it is a very old place, and the rooms are the size of the older motels from the 40s and 50s. They claim their beds are queen size, even when questioned, but they are full size beds. Just so you're aware. But the rooms have been modernized inside, and are really clean and attractive. They take their gardens seriously and you feel like you're staying in a botanic garden. So much so, no joke, that I took the trip to the Mendocino Botanic Garden off my list, too much else to do!"
