The Inn at Kulaniapia Falls

3.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (641)
"The Inn at Kulaniapia Falls is an absolute hidden gem on the Big Island. You have your own waterfall! And you only need to share it with a few other guests! How do you get better than that? There are a few confusing things about this place which might not be obvious on a third-party booking site, so I'll try to explain here. 1. There are two broad accommodation types here. The Inn, which is an inn, and the cabins. The cabins are located on a farm next to the Inn. You have to turn right, not...

Hilo Bay Oceanfront B&B

3.5 star property

"Lovely restored home. Very nice owner and sweet (I believe Japanese) lady prepared and cooked our breakfast. Lots of snacks and refreshments. We were allowed to use an area in the fridge. No amenities in room but, everything we would want or need was just outside our door. Would love to stay again!"

Luxurious, Private Suite

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (5)
"We thoroughly appreciated this peaceful, private home away from home, which far exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, light-filled, had phenomenal ventilation, and was equipped with thoughtful amenities: refrigerator/freezer, hot plate, microwave oven, and coffee maker with all the fixings and snacks to boot. The kindness of the Hosts was so apparent in their lending to guests outstanding Hawaiiana reading material and maps, user-friendly cable TV, flashlight, ice chest, binoculars,...

"This was our favorite place we stayed throughout our two week trip on the Big Island and Kauai. The staff was very helpful and the room we stayed in was super cozy. It was private and relaxing. Moana Pali House

3.0 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (5)
"If it were only for the spacious, beautifully appointed room with a balcony to watch the sunrise over the Pacific, we’d recommend staying here. If it were only for the incredible lanai featuring a hot tub and a relaxing pool, we’d say go for it. If it were only for Rick and Faith’s warm welcome, infinite resources for ways to spend your time on the island, and bountiful homemade breakfast each morning, we’d say come to enjoy their five star service. Put all that together, combined with a...

"The land of Sunshine" - fantastic ocean views, peaceful, romantic getaway

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (178)
"Lovely cottage separate from the owners house but on the same lot. Great views of the ocean and sunrise. Well equipped kitchenette for self-catering as there are not many restaurants near by, however there is a grocery store in the next town over. Nice to hear the frogs at night, was very soothlng. Morning will bring sounds of cockerels so if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. There is a fairly soft double mattress and a say bed, making this a perfect getaway for a couple. "
