"With the exception of 2 staff members the attitude was terrible The location is too remote from restaurants and bars the hotels restaurant bar and terrace were all closed the pool was dirty about to go green no where to lounge by the pool even after asking for a banana loumge to be moved from the closed terrace they said no. "Hotel staff were great Melina and Rey in particular. Restaurant is overrated and overpriced and service is very slow. Dogs and chickens are noisy all night. It's too far from town (about 25 km) The area is not busy and very safe, if you want to be away from the tourist crowd this is a good area."

"Issues with getting lounges around the pool and at the ocean. People leave their towels on the chairs and never seem to show up. Also towels are hard to get sometimes."

"Proximity to the beach and the view from our suite was beautiful. We will definitely be back! We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food in the restaurant. The traditional Oaxacan dishes were delicious and the lava cake was to die for. Quinta Real is like a boutique resort with very few people at the pool or beach ! The ocean was heavenly to swim in. "

"Check in was very simple and fast. The front desk staff were friendly. Room was clean. Air conditioning worked good. Everything was going good untill the sun started going down and this place went downhill faster than the sun set. There was no hot water. It was luke warm. The pillows were as flat as a folded towel. There is a night club attached to the building. (This was Saturday night) The club was playing loud music all night until 5:30am. Plus the party buses passed by in front of the hotel...
