"We stayed at The Mauian to celebrate my sister's birthday, she lives on the island, but in a different town. It was a great location, other family members could stay at different resorts depending on their comfort level. Staff was wonderful and friendly. We enjoyed using the grills and being able to hop in the Ocean to cool off and appreciated the water refill station. We don't have young children, but seems like many families staying there did and seemed to have a wonderful time. "

"Best view ever! Loved to be as close to the water as possible and 40 feet is great. The carpet needs replacing and the unit is old. But I was fine with that. Was out walking and snorkeling most of the time. "

"The pools are the main highlight, with lots of chairs and space for everyone. The pool bar is a nice option and they had music in the restaurant a few nights. The restaurant food is just ok with the service being just ok as well. The staff were not overly friendly and rarely smiled. The pools get really loud with kids playing so it’s something to consider if you are not traveling with children. Parking was an issue as the garage was under construction. "The unit we were in was well designed for comfort and privacy and was also very well equipped with kitchen utensils. There were plenty of outlets and light sources. We loved sitting on the balcony over looking the beach. "

"We have lived on Oahu and wated to see parts of the islands we have not seen. Moloka'i is beautiful! More importantly, we felt like a welcomed part of the community from the moment we met our driver who transported us to the hotel ( shoutout to Moloka'i Outdoors) to check in through our stay. The nightly local musicians at the restaurant were all wonderful and the view of the sunset is awe inspiring!"
