"It is a really nice property right on the beach. The ground is well kept. It has several pools with water slides and a family friendly place. Right next door is Whaler's Village which has lots of stores and restaurants. The ABC store in the Whaler's Village has everything from grab and go's to beer also souvenir to take home. Very friendly staff. We will definitely go back should we visit Maui again."

"My husband and I were on Maui for our 25th wedding anniversary. At the very last minute, I decided to plan a surprise one night trip over to Lanai. It took some planning because you need to get a ferry over from Maui and once at dock on Lanai a ride into town to pick up a Jeep rental car, and then find a place to stay. I luckily found this Lana’i Oasis and Gem, The Artist's House on Vrbo. The house was much bigger than we needed for just two people for one night as it has two bedrooms and even more sleeping options for more people. Check-in was easy and the communication with the owner was excellent. We found the place very clean, very private, with a comfortable bed and close to town. The paintings on this walls made by the owner were beautiful. Cost here was more than I expected when I first saw it on Vrbo because Vrbo charges significant amounts for Cleaning and fees making the total cost almost 800 for one night, way more than I am used to paying! But this was still less than the local hotels. Please note that my husband tried to use the outdoor shower, but the water was ice cold and never got warm. The indoor shower, however, was hot. I loved the cosmetic mirrors in both bathrooms, a nice full kitchen, and a patio to sip your tea or coffee. It was peaceful and quiet there. Also a driveway to park your jeep. We had a great time. "

A couple of us stayed in this same community a couple years ago and were pleasantly surprised to have booked in same place again (same community different house). Amazing beach footsteps away, kind people, pool. The house is perfect! "

"We stayed with my mom, husband and two toddlers 1 & 3 year olds. It was large enough that we never felt cramped. It appears they are slowly upgrading and the upgrades that have been made look really nice and the older portions are still nice just aged a bit. It wouldn’t impact your stay. Location was nice and easy to setup as a base camp and still go out and explore. Beaches that were near were nice and we spent quite a bit of time at the pool on property. Would stay here again!"

"What a beautiful home. Fully stocked with everything you could possibly ask for. The best was the early morning as our room was lit by the rising of the sun. Electric curtains open to a view that is unexplainable. The home is clean and furnished perfectly. You’re so grateful for the opportunity to be able to stay. Aloha and Mahalo."
