"Another Gem we found. Super friendly staff, beautiful location, incredible view, cute room w balcony, great food at restaurant and nice breakfast buffet. But make sure to make reservatiins at any restaurant in this area for a Saturday night. Don't miss the porterhouse steak in the restaurant across the street. Pool area and terrasse is amazing. Highly recommend this place off the beaten path. 1 hour to each Pisa and Florence from here. "

"Beautiful countryside location. With 11 people in our group, the accommodations were more than sufficient and the pool was a great addition. Masssimo was a very gracious host. It was a little difficult to find the entrance at first, but once we did we had no trouble getting around the area."

"Lovely location in the heart of Tuscany within easy driving and train of Florence and Pisa and many other beautiful cities. The farmhouse was specious and had all the amenities. The pool area was clean and relaxed. Great location and Massimo was always happy to help"

"We arrived late at night which our host kindly allowed for, but his English wasn’t good so it was hard for him to explain why the room we had booked and paid for wasn’t available and we were in a much smaller apartment which was not especially comfortable for the length of the stay with questionable weather.. "We loved our stay at the Borgo La Casseta. It’s a family business, they have a small restaurant on the main floor. It takes approx half an hour drive up the hill to get there from Pistoia. A little bit tricky to find. Parking is free (gated property). The room was clean, separate bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. A spectacular 180 degree city/valley view. "
