"This hotel was very reasonably priced, and for once it was NOT like stepping through a portal into the ‘60s, which was much appreciated. It was clean, comfortable and modern. Our stay was excellent, and at that price I would absolutely stay here exclusively if we ever had to be back in the area. The neighborhood seemed nice and quiet as well. "

"We stayed there for a weekend for a teen birthday overnight. First off don't let the first impression fool you. This is an entire property that someone has purchased and is converting into a really one of a kind weekend stay. Yes the driveway needs some work.Yes the sidewalks are old. From the outside you might wonder what you've gotten yourself into. But you got to trust me on this.... Once you're inside this place is really cool and interesting. A completely modern kitchen that is huge. An astroturf playroom with disco lights swinging chairs, putt putt, ping pong table and a hot tub. There's a full size indoor pool with a shallow and deep end. and four to five bedrooms that will allow any sleeping combination you want. Every bedroom has at least one TV. There's a huge projection screen room for movies. Nearly all of the bedrooms have a completely separate sitting area. One has a triple-decker queen bunk bed with a slide attached. True Story. Now if you're somebody who bases your experience on whether the towels, bedspreads. and furniture matches and there's uniformity throughout the property.... this ain't for you. But the property owners are continually adding and modifying to it. The first thing you're going to want to do for guests to arrive later is take them on a tour. Every room has a separate heating and cooling system. when we stayed it was in the teens and it took just a little bit but everything heated fine. Owners were helpful and responsive. "

"I've been coming here off and on for 35 years. The rooms are big and comfortable. It's not a new and fancy place, but a place to come back to. The bar is big and not too busy. Has a good reasonable food."

"This house and property is amazing, and the pictures do not do it justice. It’s beautiful on its own, however we also had the bonus of having it decorated for Christmas. Lori not only had a Christmas tree, but there were multiple other decorations hidden in corners of each room, several animated animals like Mickey Mouse that my grandkids loved, and there was even an Elf on a Shelf. The owners not only had everything we needed in a well stocked kitchen, coffee, spices, plenty of towels and soft throw blankets everywhere, and many other bonus items, but there were also so many toys that no children would ever be bored! For reference my granddaughters are 8 & 5. We also had access to the rec room where the adults had just as much fun playing as the kids, and a bonus game room with a poker table that we utilized for cards in the evening hours. The goats and chickens are friendly, we had fresh eggs in the morning, and the grounds are easily accessible for walks should you choose. It was too cold for us to fish or use the outside much, but all of that was just as nice as the inside. Jack and Lori were more than easy to work with, friendly and prompt in answering questions. We even had a welcome gift waiting for us in the kitchen. I would HIGHLY recommend this property."

"We all had movie nights and played hide and seek. You could take a break from family and friends in any of the bedrooms. We all loved. Grown kids did take a walk. The owner was wonderful. We truly felt blessed to have her!!!!!!"
