"Cool location, beautiful views"

"In overall, this is the Best Hotel during my 6 weeks European vacation. We reserved regular room with lake view and Hotel gave us free upgraded Deluxe Room. The fantastic view from balcony was speechless and caused us to come back to stay another night on the way back. Hotel has a beautiful spa with very reasonable rate (€15/ hour) & plenty of free parking spaces. I want to say special thanks to Walter & Thelma. ^^ We really enjoyed to stay~ "

"A solid hotel in a beautiful location. View of the lake and mountains. Many balconies. Beautiful area in a sleepy village. The place is extremely clean, but a little age is showing and low cost improvements. I am sure this is out of season and hotel is in a maintenance mode so the restaurant was closed. "

Sadly, I came when the fog had descended on the area so I couldn't see the stunning views, but I have been to the area numerous times and know they are breathtaking. I loved that the Epesses train stop was 3 minutes from the hotel (be aware there are a lot of steps to get there). "Only reason I didn’t rate 5 stars is that they had the elevator not working. I had a room in the 3rd floor so you can imagine carrying suitcases, strollers, etc. and no one to help. "
