Beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped and we had plenty of space for 5. A couple of minor issues being advertised washer/dryer was actually a paid laundry service and pillow menu did not exist when requested although advertised. "

"We loved this little spot! It was a great place to land after our flight. Very close to downtown Alajuela, which meant that we could walk out our door in the morning and find a nice cafe and good food at the Central Market. Our only challenge was that the traffic was quite loud overnight; my partner had a hard time sleeping, even with the provided earplugs. I recommend this location for sure for heavy sleepers."

"Nice property, secure. It has a power gate that opens to let you in and out of the property so on arrival there's a bit of a kerfuffle. Let the owner know when you are arriving I guess. "Spacious accommodations and friendly host. Host was responsive and very helpful. Beautiful views but in the Lake Arenal area, which is quite secluded. There is one small, delicious restaurant 400 meters away, but not walkable. LaFortuna is approximately an hour drive, must have a car if staying here. It was a very pleasant stay, but not in the location listed."
