"Breathtaking view and comfortable stay! Huge tree with multiple varieties of birds including Toucans! Our hosts made our time very special. They provided breakfast items for our refrigerator and gave us great tips on area attractions. Their adjacent restaurant was a short walk away with delicious shakes and a variety of good food! With the volcano and lake right there we enjoyed Water activities as well as gorgeous hikes! "

"I love the brand new building and all the hanging plants around the balcony was pretty. The kitchen had all ample utensils for cooking. The bathroom was beautifully put together. Not 1 bug got in the whole week I was there which for me made for a good nights sleep. There are 2 dogs next door that bark but its not too bad. Honestly I came to realize that I like those dogs barking some to keep bad people away even though the property is gated. I always bring ear puddy on my vacations anyway I find...

"Spacious accommodations and friendly host. Host was responsive and very helpful. Beautiful views but in the Lake Arenal area, which is quite secluded. There is one small, delicious restaurant 400 meters away, but not walkable. LaFortuna is approximately an hour drive, must have a car if staying here. It was a very pleasant stay, but not in the location listed."

"This is such a hidden gem! It was a bit trickier to find with my shuttle bus but Gabriela was outstanding communicating to provide me with directions and reference points ahead. When I walked in, I was in awe. It was the perfect tiny home with luxury of daily necessities. Everything was immaculately clean, with many thoughtful touches to make it as comfortable as possible with strong wifi, tv, air conditioning, kitchen, crockpot, kettle, electric grill, microwave, fridge, laundry line, etc....

It was particularly helpful having ice available, as I rolled my ankle the first day and needed to ice the swelling. The grocery stores were within walking distance, the town was nice to stroll thru and Rebecca was always available and helpful with my questions. "We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the small bathroom without much room to put things."
