"It is located in a quiet area with convenience stores and great transportation accessibility to historical places in Kyoto. There are few restaurants & cafes in walking distance. The staff are very professional. "

"Had a great stay here for 3 nights with 2 adults, 2 kids. The room was comfortable, immaculate, well equipped. My only complaint about the room would be the fridge temperature - it turned everything to ice by the morning. Great for bottles of water to take out for the day, not so much for left over snacks. We did not use the spa area although the option was available. The breakfast choices were amazing, and they managed the volume of people well. An 8 minute walk from the station, bus stop practically just outside the front door - great travel links. Really great hotel, would firmly recommend! "

"Beautiful property. Rooms a bit dated and small though. 5 private onsens which you dont need to book. Really busy during the day but from midnight could walk into any of them. Public onsen as well. Free ice cream, tea and daily basic ramen between 10:30 - 11:30am. Was a nice break away and near Arashiyama"

"This hotel has excellent amenities (PJ, slippers, coffee in room, good size room, king bed, mini frig). The location is within walking distance of bamboo forest, monkeys, rail station. Easy taxi ride to other sites. There are breakfast places and dinner places also within walking distance. Definitely would recommend to family and friends. "
