"I had a great stay at Thalassa. It’s located on the small walk street along Sairee Beach that has all the shops and restaurants. My room had a fantastic king sized bed parked on a teak wood platform with lots of pillows. There was a choice between 3 breakfasts included with the room - all looked delicious. Nice place at a good price!"

However it was tricky to find up the hill about a 20- 30 minute walk from the main area/beach as there is no sinage so it really was a secret bungalow. The bungalow did have a leak and some bugs. Despite this it was a cozy stay. Many dogs and chickens in the neighborhood will great you and you will feel like you are staying in a majestic untouched area. "

There was dog mess in public areas. No safe in the room so i was advised to 'keep all valuables with you'. Soap dispenser didn’t work. Concrete footpath to beach collapsed. Loud music from beach bar until 2am every night. Had breakfast included but still needed to go to the other side of the complex to get a voucher each...
