The pool is nice and for lunch time there was one particular friendly, flamboyant young man tending the pool bar. The dinner in the restaurant was mediocre. Very expensive for what it was. Trying to be chic but didn't know what they were doing. However, the breakfast was excellent and the staff was fantastic. The lady who runs breakfast and lunch there really knows what she is doing."

Cavernous amounts of space inside the villa and Muhammad and Steve are always on hand to offer advice on where to go, where to eat and of course to pick up n drop 24 hours a day . You won't get this level of service in any other hotel in Tao. A truly memorable stay and highy recommended for those that can survive without a beach outside your room."

"I had a great stay at Thalassa. It’s located on the small walk street along Sairee Beach that has all the shops and restaurants. My room had a fantastic king sized bed parked on a teak wood platform with lots of pillows. There was a choice between 3 breakfasts included with the room - all looked delicious. Nice place at a good price!"
