"Quiet and secluded"

"We stayed at Linthwaite House to celebrate my partners birthday, its not so much a hotel as a Art Gallery with its wonderfully tasteful decor and items from the owners private collection. Its location over looking Windermere and landscaped garden it was for us the most fantastic place to relax wonderful food and with staff that couldn't do enough for us truly 5 star for us it was a "Faultless" weekend."

"Lovely welcome from the staff who were very informative about everything from parking to meals to how to contact them. Parking is very limited however public parking is available nearby. Room was comfortable and warm. Had all the things needed (tea, coffee, basic toiletries, towels etc). Having a safe in the room was a nice touch. The only little things are there is no mirror next to the table to do hair / make up as it’s across the room and the toilet door constantly hits the bathroom door. Shower good quality, nice bedding. Slight issue on the last night with other guests but the staff were really apologetic the next morning when this was brought to their attention (hoping to receive an email about it though once it is mentioned to management). Overall very nice and in a good location. "
