"A very different experience for a foreigner, and one that I cherished as a student of Buddhism. If you aren’t adventurous, I don’t recommend it, and if you go, please be curious, open, and full of respect. "Wonderful experience! The staff was capable and helpful. The food was delicious. And you can’t beat how close the hotel is to Donguri Street and the Glico Man. One small thing is that the door directly to the women’s bath was somewhat broken and hard to open and close. Other than that it’s a great place for a traditional Japanese experience!"

"This will have to be my most favorite part of my trip to Japan. You will have to intentionally come here for the temple stay. First and foremost, the facility will ONLY ACCEPT CASH payment for the stay. Though my wife and I were not too fond of the shared wash rooms to wash up.
