"We were not lucky on the night we stayed. There was a power outage late night in parts of Kenya and hotel’s power generator was on and it made loud noises. We could not sleep well. We understood that it was not hotel’s fault. All the staffs there are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good and sufficient. We will come back after our safari trip and we hope room will be quiet."

"Anyone who stays at Hemmigways, Karen, Nairobi will not be disappointed. The property is often used as a pre or post safari hotel. "It seemed like this place just opened and was not ready for guests, but they did not have power when I arrived, which was a big let down after traveling from the US for over a day. They also didn't have internet for a while, until they got power back and after I asked. Not a bad place, maybe it'll get better with time. The food and service was good! "

"Lovely and clean rustic place including room and common area. Love the detailing to the space, better ambience than in a hotel! We could easily park our car safely at the space outside near the garden within the house compound. Cosy and clean bedding, equipped with electric kettle, fridge and cooking place. Good WiFi, could shower comfortably in the bath. Highly recommended!"

"Extremely happy with the hotel and the staff. We were treated so kindly at check-in by Ms. Esther and helped by everyone else with all kinds of questions and needs we have. The location can't be beat. So convenient to stay at the mall, especially if you have children. Just spend the extra money and stay here, you will not regret it."
