"Room is clean and well maintained. Staff, from front desk to housekeeping are friendly and helpful. Price is decent. Location is in the city but without the hustle and bustle of traffic...could be the Covid 19...Would certainly recommend friends this place."

"The hotel is in a great location. Excellent breakfast options - try the sarawak laksa. Staff are very helpful and the concierge was able to find tours for a solo traveller without having to pay for 2 people. I stayed in one of the older, cheaper rooms and the bathrooms are in need of renovation however it was still clean and everything worked well. "

"Quite center of city but don't like room no window. The bathroom have no glass door that water easily split out while shower and get wet the whole bathroom floor. "

"Positives 1.Extremely comfortable beds, we slept so well. 2.The water pressure in the shower was super strong. Wonderful shower. 3. Location is perfect. 4. Lovely patio area overlooking the library. 5. Wonderful service from reception. Negatives- breakfast I was so surprised how poor the breakfast was and this is something that could be remedied easily. The coffee was too weak (almost transparent). First morning i ordered the eggs and almost cried when i saw the quantity of food on the plate. That piece of garlic bread is insignificant and doesnt even taste good. Why not invest in sourdough bread and serve a thick slice with the eggs and maybe a sausage. Even the fruit in the buffet area looked a bit pathetic. Please upgrade your breakfast to match the quality of the rest of the hotel. "
