Small modern hotel in interesting part of city. Walking distance to many attractions, shops, restaurants. Helpful friendly staff at reception and breakfast especially. Breakfast here was good. Good shower, good wifi, comfortable room.

It's a very good hotel. It was a very convenient location as it was close to the waterfront and there were many restaurants and shops. The front desk of the hotel was very helpful, and we were able to store our luggage during check-in and check-out. I would like to stay at this hotel again next time.

It seemed like a newer hotel. The room was comfortable and fairly quiet. Staff were average, and despite my request for an early check-in due to completing 24 hours of traveling, they didn't have my room ready any earlier than 3pm.

An excellent hotel to stay with a reasonable price
The location is good. It's a 10-min walk to the water front. There are a lot of restaurants around the hotel. The staff in the hotel is amazing and makes you feel that you are welcomed. The room is pretty spacious and clean. I will definitely stay here again if I visit Kuching in future. Highly recommended.

The hotel was in a great location, they were incredibly helpful! My only reservation would be that the breakfast was a little expensive for what was on offer (at least for a vegetarian), so we mostly ate outside.

My Yearly Trips to Kuching
This is not my first stay at Meritin, I am very happy with the rooms, cleaniness is excellent, air-condition is super cool, beds and pillows were very verycomfortable. Staff at the reception are very helpful and friendly. The location is also convenient as it is situated along chinatown and food is abundant along both sides of the street. I will definitely come back here to stay for my yearly trips to Kuching.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was very comfortable, particularly liked the bathroom with the walk in shower, unlike some hotels that have the shower in the bath. Being an older person a walk in shower is much safer. As well, breakfast was included in the room price which is very helpful when travelling. Thank you Meritin Hotel for a pleasant comfortable stay.
