"The property is well located with a nice view of the water. The unit was fairly quiet. They have spas and a pool, but no robes to where to the pool. Given the cooler temperature and the hope that people don't walk around in swimming trunks, it would be nice the a "Spa Resort" to provide robes. We stayed for 5 nights and were disappointed when they wanted to charge at additional $45 for checking out at 11 instead of 10. NZ is the only place we seen that has regular check-out at 10, but most...

"I stayed here for three nights and after an awkwardness over my fault twin booking all went well. Its a bit noisy, to be expected but the north side room view made up for that. I liked it but let down by the tired pricey restaurant. There's vastly better options down the attractive Strand foreshore. Tha Gables is amazing, Seaside has good fare and the Pompallier cottage cafe great for teas and tours."
