"Nice place to stay if you want to relax and get away. Close to some amazing restaurants… our favorite was Tides. They have live music and great fish and chips. The best frozen drinks on our trip. The location is remote and it takes a while to get to attractions. Only downside"

"We had an absolutely fabulous vacation at this private, quiet, secluded home in Junquillal. The property was immaculately clean and well stocked. The caretakers were helpful and accessible, but we almost never saw them. Their dog is absolutely fabulous and well behaved and I miss him already!The view is unbeatable. The beachwas so much fun… Tide pools and shells and. Stunning views. The stairs are steep, but were not an issue for us. We can't wait to go back!"

"The beach was awesome and quiet, and the view from the villa was amazing. The Villa was very nice and had all what we needed for enjoying our vacations. Hannia helped us with booking surf lessons that my kids loved so much. My family and I would love to come back next year! "

"This was our third time staying at this property over the past 8 years. We love it! The pool is fantastic, easy access to a walkable beach during low tide. It is as pictured and really liked the updates to the kitchen, making it more functional and easy to navigate. A/Cs work great. It’s truly is a slice of heaven. "

"Enjoyed everything about this beautiful Villaesque lodging with its lush botanical walled grounds. Plenty of birds, hummingbirds everyday and other daily visits from a plethora of winged visitors to the pool's waterfall. Monkeys, a colorful squirrel and 2 cats passed through as well. The property is a brief walk along a shaded trail to the beach. "

"If you are looking for total privacy and seclusion, this home has it. However, it is conveniently located within driving distance of amenities. The house is on the monkey highway so it's great fun to watch them travel by the house. The house has plenty of room for families or 2 or 3 couples. The open concept of the central living space may be hard to take if you have an aversion to the Costa Rican bugs and critters that often visit. The kitchen is screened but also somewhat open to the elements....
