"Cons: Cleanliness of the room, particularly bathroom, can definitely be improved on. Would also appreciate having the dryer repaired in the facility so travellers can do laundry within the hotel. Pros: very convenient area with the biggest station nearby within walking distance to get around the city of Taipei. Many food/dine options and convenient stores for those late night cravings. The infamous Ximending is only a 15 minutes walk for me ;)"

"The accommodation had everything I needed, a place to sleep, lockers with a lock, and a kitchen/living room area with free tea, and a fridge to store food. The women's sleeping area also had a bathroom and shower inside of the room, meaning I didn't need to go outside to use it. The staff were also extremely helpful, even coming with me to the local laundromat to show me how to correctly use it. Location is convient, but the entrance is in a shopping area that closes after 9 or so and you have to take a back entrance if you come back late. Bathroom facilities are also not amazing, there are no good places to put your clothes and towel while you shower and there is only one bathroom per gender. Overall quite decent, especially for the price. Would stay again!"

"Great experience staying at the Regent. Service was excellent and very welcoming. Taxi service very convenient. Mattress seemed firm but I slept great. They were doing construction during the day a few floors up but it was hardly noticeable apart from the first day when we were napping due to jet lag."

"I enjoy when everything works, everything is clean, hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Therefore I enjoyed this place. Very simple My only qualm is that any hotel that charges its laundry by the item is really pushing it. Actually priced by item isn’t the issue. Outrageously pricing each item is the issue. I’m not even sure if this laundry service is affiliated with the hotel or separate but they could always find a reasonably priced one. It costs more to do laundry here than in NYC. Other than that, lovely spot."

"The place is so convenient and just across the Taipei Main Station. The room is so cozy and the staff replenishes the stocks and does make up room the everyday. The toilet is like of those of Japan (with seat heater and bidet buttons) and the bathroom is so tidy and clean. Staffs are so friendly and accommodating. Their common area has a vending machine, computer, weighing scale and water dispenser with unlimited water for guests. Will definitely book this place again! "
