"Property was awesome, staff was friendly and helpful! Being from the US did not feel comfortable walking to nearby restaurants and entertainment as the roads were narrow with little or no shoulders! The staff is more than happy to call a taxi which is far safer."

"Although it was difficult to find in the dark and wouldn't recommend traveling there in a low clearance vehicle, the place was beautiful and tranquil. Food and service was friendly and welcoming. The showers are difficult to get a warm temperature, it seemed to be either hot or cold lol, wasn't able to find a way to mix the two. But who cares when you relax on a hammock on your balcony being serenaded by the river! "

"Amazing views and the host offered me great insight into the area and history of Jamaica and Kingston It is NOT close to the actual city. I would NOT use a rental car to commute there. Use a cab or Uber only. It costs about 10-15 dollars (US) each way to the Half Tree area and a little more for other popular sites. It was clean and I felt safe the whole time"

"Here's the deal with this hotel-- the owner is running it on his own, and clearly working hard to do so. He really went out of his way to help us out in a pinch. We ended up booking this space last minute when our flight out of Jamaica was cancelled and we needed a place to stay in Montego Bay for the night. This lodging is near the airport.
