"Such a retreat! We had a room with a private jacuzzi, it was great to relax after a long day of travelling. The rooms are very spacious and clean, with nice, comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious. The location is on a quiet street. We would highly recommend this hotel! "

"This was called an ecolodge because it does not use bug spray and has no hot water. It was way overpriced for a hostel and did not meet hotel standards, when booking you had to book 2 nights minimum, non refundable. We were expected to supply our own towels which we did not know. The owner graciously provided us with towels. The owner was pleasant and provided us a place to stay with our dog which is uncommon for Costa Rican hotels. We sincerely thank her for that.
