"The service at this hotel needs special mention. Nthing was too much trouble and staff went well above and beyond what was expected. Arriving late we were welcomed by the restaurant manager (the only person still working) were shown to our room and offered a late meal (very welcome) asking at reception the next day for recommendations as to where to visit, within 5 minutes a knock on the door and a sheaf of suggestions in english. The restaurant is superb and the food excellent. A thunderstorm...

"Una boccata d’ossigeno. Internamente immersa nel verde, anche troppo forse. All’interno di un bosco, si respira l’aria fresca di montagna, completamente distante dallo smog cittadino. Strutture bella, ristrutturata, gestita come ostello, ma con possibilità di camere matrimoniali o familiari con bagno privato adiacente alla camera. Fornita di bar, cucina e frigo utilizzabile da chiunque, sala comune con giochi da tavolo e possibilità di intrattenimento tv. Lo spazio all’aperto è il punto forte,...

"Far from city centre, no facilities to have meal in the hotel"

"a localizaçao do I Giardini di Margius e perfeita e nem o mau estado da estrada de acesso incomoda: fica no meio da montanha, entre oliveiras, e com uma nesga de mar à vista. Os bungalows são básicos mas suficientes, pois também ninguém quererá passar o dia no quarto. A piscina é pequena mas ideal para um mergulho ao fim da tarde. Como principal nota negativa, lamento que o complexo não tenha acesso à internet, nem sequer em áreas comuns. O pequeno-almoço é aceitável embora com demasiados doces....

"We enjoyed staying in this villa with our adult children and friends. There was plenty of room for everyone. The pool was a lifesaver as it was quite hot during our stay. The owner was super responsive and kind - (I got worried about some hill fires early in our stay, he put me at ease and was very reassuring)."
