"The service at this hotel needs special mention. Nthing was too much trouble and staff went well above and beyond what was expected. Arriving late we were welcomed by the restaurant manager (the only person still working) were shown to our room and offered a late meal (very welcome) asking at reception the next day for recommendations as to where to visit, within 5 minutes a knock on the door and a sheaf of suggestions in english. "Beautiful location, way out in the countryside, were looking forward to it, stopped at a shop on the way to stock up, shouldn't have bothered, the kitchen on the listing is a hot plate down the side of Sabrina's house, not sure what you do if it rains? If you want to put your food on a plate, you have to ask for one, no plates, cutlery of glasses in the property, nothing to even make a coffee with in the morning. "We had the most gorgeous stay at Villa Giada. The photos do not do it justice - it is spectacular. The layout is absolutely perfect for a large family. The main eating area by the pool is where we spent all of our time and then the little casitas that are on the property (all a few steps away from each other) allowed for privacy and down time when needed.
