"We had a great time at Isla del Sol! It was very nice to be able to relax and unplug. All of the staff were so nice. I think it’s worth noting that while Google Maps shows that there are other restaurants in walking distance, they both appeared to be closed. There wasn’t really other food options, so the full board option may be the correct choice! "

"We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The staff were amazingly kind. They treated us like family. The private beach was incredible and was much more serene than other beach options on the island. The food was great, and when we chose to eat at other properties it was an easy walk; we even had locals offering to walk us to where we wanted to go. The night time snorkel to see bioluminescent plankton was the highlight of our entire time in Colombia. We will definitely be back!"

"We throughly enjoyed our stay. Beaches are nice. Food is good and staff are friendly. This is a place to just come and chill out. Snorkeling at the mini beaches is pretty dull but you can take mini boats for a small fee out 10 Minutes and see incredible coral and fish. We would totally come back here!"

"We stayed here for 6 nights, and enjoyed our time here. Although the rooms are a bit dated and worn, we didn’t expect 5 star amenities and it met our needs for the price. The hotel is very well managed, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is excellent and the menu is varied enough so that there are always a few things that that you might choose to eat. "I use this property to overnight when I was diving. The power is only on at night but the breeze and fan was adequate for getting us good night's sleep. The water is solid although I didn't trust it for drinking. The owners couldn't have been nicer and they included breakfast was good."

"We had a great time. The property has two residences. The chefs/cleaners are in a house at the back. They were really great. Especially great cooks!
