"It felt like a small business hotel in terms of how well maintained it is. I do wish each floor had a shower though. Overall great price. When I come back to Japan, I will book this hostel again if possible."

"My stay was wonderful! The staff are all so very nice and helpful. I chatted with people of all ages and I saw several family & friend groups. The room and common spaces are kept very clean. There are lockers to secure valuables and personal items on your floor. I was pleasantly surprised that there is a kitchen and I was able to cook a few meals which was a huge plus for me. "Stayed for 1 night at a double room in 802. The room was pretty clean except for the carpet. It was stained, dirty and looks like it has not been deep cleaned in a while. The washroom was clean and had a bidet. Note: there is no TV"

"Great location, comfortable bed. It is cramped, but it’s a hostel after all. I’d stay again if I return to Tokyo. I needed assistance checking in and was not able to reach a staff member at the phone number provided. Fortunately one of the travelers in our group figured out a solution. I was disappointed in the lack of customer service."

"This is my first time visiting Tokyo and Juyoh was my first hotel/hostel stay. What a great first impression of Japanese hospitality. Juyoh is located in Taito City, which is a charming and quieter area north of Ginza. "I loved A16. It is an ideal spot to start a trip to Tokyo. It was very easy to get to, coming from Narita Airport and there are LOTS of good, cheap dining options within a very short walk. While not necessarily the closest place to tourist spots, it is very close to Asakusa-bashi train station, making it very easy to get around Tokyo. "cool hostel, the workers are really great, helpful and nice. The shower room smells a bit moldy, so just keep that in mind. They do have a nice kitchen area with a tv, if u just need a place to crash its okay. my pillowcase was not clean thank god i had brought my own. Had to pay 200 yen for a towel. All in all okay hostel"

"PROS Very cozy room but plenty of space under the bed for storing baggage. Lots of useful information on the TV home screen (WIFI password, checkout details, room cleaning schedule, public bath crowd size, etc.) Multiple power outlets, including USB. Quick walk to train stations. Unbeatable choice if attending a sumo match at the nearby stadium. Also perfect for visiting the Edo-Tokyo Museum when it reopens after the renovations conclude. Excellent Lawson convenience store located on the second floor. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. DRAWBACKS - Taller folks might find the bathroom module challenging. - Not enough elevators for the number of people in such a large hotel usually trying to reach the lobby at checkout time. - Stairs only for emergencies above the second floor. "
