"Start to finish a truly wonderful experience for my wife's 70th.birthday, unfortunately the breakfast was a bit of a let down ie. My wife's French toast was cold and my fried egg was frazzled, definitely the worst fried egg in Ireland. The egg makes the fry. Booked a table for 7pm Saturday evening. Arrived at 6.50 and we were told to wait outside in a side room until 7 even though the restaurant was empty at the time. Not even an offer to provide us with a drink while we waited. "We went for one night as a Christmas present. Was really looking forward to using the spa. A bit disappointed as we could hardly find a spot to put our robes & towel as it was packed. Not the hotels fault though as I think a few guests were staying as they had no electricity or water, due the extreme storm we had. Couldn’t use the outdoor pool or go on a walk in the grounds because of this. Will just have to come back, hopefully. Staff are all lovely and so was the food."

"One night stay to avail of Kilculllen's Seaweed baths. Everything excellent as expected. Double room this time, find it more comfortable than the family room. Great hotel and great value on certain days, no doubt I pick those days!!"

"Vast improvement on last time I stayed there. Waiting and bar staff could do with training in customer service. Plenty of patrons had to ask for their food orders to be taken. I had to ask three times to xheck on tge status of our order. We cancelled dessert as it was over twenty minutes. "
