"My husband and I stay at this specific Motel 6 every time we visit Port Lavaca, which is usually 2-3 times a year, and for good reason. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, our room is always clean and depending on time of year, they turn the a/c or heat on before our arrival. Our fur baby is always welcome and never any problems. But this last visit I forgot my diamond hoop earrings on nightstand next to phone. I called Jacob at the front desk and being the wonderful person he is told me...

"The rooms have been renovated & looked nice. But next project needs to be to paint the outside!!! All metal doors were needing metal paint also. Would look a lot better for people that pass by looking for a hotel. I booked on-line."
