"This ryokan was very spacious and was located in the heart of Dotonbori. The staff were very friendly and the property was clean. The halls had a bit of a strange smell, but the room itself was fantastic and had a stunning view of the river."

Would be great for a value with larger families, but be prepared to understand the busses or get a taxi, not a ton to do in the immediate area. On the other hand, staff was nice, limited but plenty of English with my terrible Japanese. Food was excellent and beautifully plated.
