For an entire 2 weeks, we gorged ourselves on instant noodles while cruising on the Trans-Siberian railways through Mongolia and Russia...

So as you can imagine, we HAD to make a pilgrimage to the Instant Ramen Noodle Museum. It's an easy train ride to Ikeda from Osaka.

It was a fun-filled afternoon learning the the amazing legacy of instant cuisine as well as taking the cooking class to make our very own chicken flavoured noodles.

Make sure you book if you want to do the cooking class – we were lucky that they had 2 spots left in the class. It's well worth doing!

I wish we had more time to truly appreciate the lengths taken to make us feel comfortable in their home, it was only on our last day that I found the brand new toothbrushes by the sink.
