"First off the reception has a strong stench of cigarette smoke. On check out the hotel demanded extra money than what was listed on the book page. They listed ¥150 per person per night which was fine however they wanted another ¥350 per person for heating cost!?!? Which was never listed during booking. The purpose of having hotel booking platforms are to list everything down so there are no surprises!"

"Very comfortable stay at this newer hotel. We were originally booked in a room with no private bath (must use communal onsen on the top floor for bathing) unbeknownst to us, because the room description was lacking. Our request to change rooms was fortunately accommodated. Overall this hotel occupies a remote and lovely natural setting -- best viewed from the indoor/outdoor onsens on the top floor. "Very nice and cozy place to stay at. The owners are very nice and kind. It was a pleasure to spend the time there. I really enjoyed having a drink with the owner. The place is at the top of a mountain with a beautiful scenery. The place is mostly for ski resort, but I used it to go around the area and visit some local attractions."
