"Owners and staff were welcoming and the room was spacious, full facilities, warm. Approx 9 miles from Buxton, a rural but convenient for access. Adjacent to a main road, but no disturbances for sleep with the rooms to the rear of the pub. Enjoyed the well presented food. Lovely fish & chips. Slight issue over lasagne, quickly remedied/replaced. Excellent cooked breakfast. Good quality ingredients. Very good value, would recommend and probably return if in area again."

"It is a lovely B&B. A little remote but beautiful views all around. Stayed two nights in the Boots room. Nice big room with large double bed, little sofa, couple of chairs and a gorgeous deep window sill, perfect for the morning cuppa and views across the fields. Bathroom was a good size as was the shower. Nothing worse than a tiny shower cubicle and this was a nice big space. They are horses and alpacas at the property. "Fabulous place to stay. The bar/restaurant is cosy and inviting. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Teas coffee and cake was a lovely touch in the room. Beds comfortable, breakfast delicious. Taxi to nearby picturedrome £6 each way. Can definitely recommend."

The Hosts are super helpful & friendly, go above & beyond to ensure your stay in stunning English countryside is memorable. "Stayed here for 2 night's in June and loved it, the place is warm and welcoming, the bed was massive and comfy with plenty of toiletries in the bathroom. Shower was easy to use and very clean, definitely stay here again. Breakfast was freshly cooked and cooked how you like it, the host was friendly and veey helpful."
