"Had an amazing stay here, the hosts are very accommodating and kind, making us feel right at home. The home is cozy and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. A very peaceful area yet a bit remote as it requires a bit of a walk to reach the nearest bus stop which are a little confusing to navigate. However this is to be expected for a small town like this. It did not take away from the experience at all and actually helped us to see more of the town. If walking is an issue I would see about finding a place a bit closer to Mt. Fuji station. The hosts were kind enough to pick us up and drop us off at the train station which made everything very convenient, even bringing us to the station a town over where our bus was leaving from at no extra cost. I highly recommend this stay and wouldn’t think twice about coming back. Thank you!"

Station hotel

"Overall great place to stay and like 3-4 min walk from mt Fuji station. If you don’t mind walking it was doable to the Chureito Paroga. There is a limitation to restaurants that are walking distance especially if you visit on a Monday so we made sure to eat at one on our journey to the park. Also some have a siesta in between. The only complaint I had is that I wish it had a microwave. I forgot to ask if there was one downstairs in the lobby but it be good to known down next time. I wanted to buy a meal to heat up but realized my room didn’t have one. However if you just want a quick glance of the mountain it’s right next to the police station! "

Best options for budget trip to Mt. Fuji area

"Very clear instructions by emails after booking. Effective communication by English via email or face to face. Very helpful staff. Excellent cleanliness in common area. Walking distance to both train stations and has bus stop in front of the hostel. Has hot water, coffee & tea supplies & clear instructions on cooking ramen by microwave oven. Could be better if there is a pantry for simple cooking with an individual sink. Will return to this hostel when revisiting Mt. Fuji area again "
