"The property was new and being work on, but in a caretaker way. Everyone was pleasant and ask if there is anything we needed. The Sunset was beautiful as we sat out on the lanai overlooking the Ocean. Our cottage was perfect for our needs. It was not what we were expecting but got a lot more from it. Perfect little compound for what we needed at the time. "

"The short of it is that this place has a rodent problem and it will require a lot of work to improve.Place is conveniently situated close to Kona and multiple public beach access points, but is on a very loud and active main road through Kona. The living quarters are fine, but not thoughtfully put together. For instance, there is no bathroom privacy as the door is a see through storm/security door. Facility quite dated but very clean well kept n maintained. Staff mostly friendly helpful. Parking is an adventure each day entrance n exit quite challenging be careful if driving larger vehicle. Finding parking spot can be crap shoot. Good location minutes drive from everything in town. Would definiely stay again when back...
