"Very good value, lovely breakfast included. Room small but clean and well maintained. All staff very helpful, polite and responsive all the time. Easy walk to shops if you need anything, lots of places to eat near by if you want options. Enjoyed the swim in the large pool, using sauna etc and the gym, all included. Perfect for a stopover."

"We had a lovely overnight stay and booked spa treatments. The outdoor pool is wonderful and the indoor spa facilities are excellent. Great breakfast. Buxton is quiet but that suited us. Great Thai restaurant round the corner too. "

"Very good value for money. Hotel and B&B prices are on the pricier side in this area and this hotel is very fairly priced, we had a lovely twin room and bathroom and freshly cooked breakfast. Parking was just £6.50 for 24 hours. Location is excellent, just across the road from Buxton Opera House. Would stay again!"

"Upon arrival the place is just stunning, came to pay for the room only to be told no cash, nothing jumps out on the website to say it’s cashless. This was disappointing to us due to my husband selling motorbike we thought we treat ourselves to a little spa and a night away with the cash., luckily we did have our credit card with us if we didn’t have this we would have in stuck! "Lovely hotel The annexe area is very tired and the bathrooms need updating. The spa was ok but could benefit from an upgrade and maybe some soft relaxing music in the treatment rooms. The staff were ok. No one ‘went the extra mile’ let’s say. Staff need to be more customer focused at times felt like they were putting themselves out to accommodate us when it should be that nothing was too much trouble especially in the spa. This didn’t spoil our stay though. "
