"The front desk service was friendly. The room was clean with a microwave and they have a fitness room and pool and jacuzzi. The walk to the shops and the beach is close by. "

"everything was absolutely wonderful all across the board...beautiful hotel with beautiful grounds and pool area, enjoyed reading the hawaiian history stories about the property...only issue were the parking wrist bands and room keys sometimes would not work so you didn't know which to use and sometimes you just had to punch for a ticket to enter or leave, which you don't pay, the front desk said to just throw them away....we would absolutely stay again....had a most perfect big island experience....aloha and ALOHA"

"We got a room facing the ocean and it was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. We enjoyed watching the sunset from our balcony while the surfers were right outside on the waves."

"My stay at Kona Islander Inn has been nice, and it's ongoing .. I had to switch condo units yesterday because the first one was prebooked. The community is in a perfect location to most activities in Kona, and the shops are close by for groceries. There's a nice pool area, a welcoming lounge, and laundry facilities. Paradise everyday! "You can’t beat the location of this property. Staying right on the shore made this trip special. We did not have to go anywhere to enjoy great views and sunsets, yet many good restaurants (Fletcher’s Kitchen and Huggo’s On The Rocks) are an easy walk, as is town."

"This was the perfect spot for my friends and me to vacation together. There is a beautiful view of the ocean from the lanai and whale sightings were plentiful. The pool is conveniently located and the grounds were clean and quiet. There are restaurants and shopping within easy walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay in this condo."

"Close to most of everything we wanted to do"

"We like that this was right beside Honl beach which we had a lovely view of. We loved where the pool was as well as it face the ocean with beautiful sunset views. The suite was big and comfortable with sufficient amenities. However one of the bifold doors was broken and completely off the hinges. I reported this but no one came to inspect or repair it. Also the bedroom had no curtains or blinds on the window and there was no sac in the bedroom either. "
