"Beautiful venue, lovely location. Great selection of drinks and food menu was good. Breakfast was very nice indeed. However, the venue had a wedding on the night of my stay and I would have appreciated a) being told this was the case and b) not being put in a room directly above the room that the party was in. Terrible nights sleep and I’m puzzled why when allocating rooms you would place people in that room."

"Parked onsite and was welcomed by Maurice & Laureen who invited us in with smiles and laughter. We booked the, superior double room with the bathtub. And the room was spacious and cosy with the bathtub being big and relaxing. There is a cozy common area where you can relax read and gossip. A lovely breakfast was prepared by Laureen with Maurice being service and entertainment. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay depite being only one night. We wished we could stay longer. "Great stay a short walk from the centre of Moffat. Caroline and Miles are super helpful and nice (Miles kept parking spaces free for us so we could park our motorcycles right outside the front of the hotel.) Plenty of parking on this quiet street. There are just 3 rooms here. They are a good size, warm and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is great quality with lots of choice. Couldn’t fault the quality and service and will definitely return."

One of the party was injured and our host went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable. "Cannot rate the Bridge House highly enough. The B&B is a stone's throw from the (best bit of) wall and 20 steps from a great little pub to watch the sun set. The room, bed, and shower were all perfect and the breakfast was the best I had all trip. What's more, the hosts clearly don't think twice about going above and beyond for their guests, making sure that I had ice for a nagging injury from the trail despite my late arrival. Just a rare level of hospitality. "

"What can I say , this place is amazing . We got there at 8pm on Friday and was greeted by Annette who was so lovley , she had warmed up the hot tub for us and everything was ready.
