"Our stay was great. Nice bed - slept very well. Good dining options near by. Nice breakfast. Only downside - brown water that came out of faucet in tub and sink. Had to run for several minutes to get it to clear up."

"The room was very nice and roomy with a beautiful view of the beach. Unfortunately during our stay, the restaurant and bar were being renovated, so we had to leave the hotel for meals. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. It also rained the entire time of our stay, so we couldn’t enjoy the beach that was right at out doorstep!"

"Excellent location. Easy parking but with a daily 9 dollar fee. Clean. Nice gym. Easy walk to the beach when parked near the beach access. Not a problem to get a space end of April/early May when we went. Loved the beach. Took a ferry to Shackleford Island from nearby Beaufort and had a nice few hours on its secluded beach with the wild ponies roaming near. Brought lunch and chairs. Nice afternoon. Had dinner in Beaufort after. Ferry staff very helpful with recommending Beaufort dining options. Unit was clean and comfortable Appears to have had some updates. Three stars is accurate for the property —it gets a five star rating for its class. "
