"Friends and Family stayed at The Shepherd Farmhouse for 3 night ghts & 4 days. We gad great communication with owner/manager of the home. He helped us yo surprise family we were visiting amd all went well. There was a terrible accident at the intersection of West Bergen & Griswold that knocked out everyone’s electricity for half a day. Our contact was rught in the ball when notifications of electricity reparation. The home was great. We enjoyed ourselves. "

"Rental was Clean and comfortable. Plenty of nice fluffy towels. Beds were very comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet and convenient. Hosted a family meal for 7 and we had plenty of dishes, silverware, etc. "

Even the lighting choices for the stairwell and bedrooms was intentional for safety without sacrificing design. "This is a nice place sitting right on the lake. Property was clean and well maintained, we didnt do any cooking but the kitchen had the basics. Full size W/D made it easy to come home without a stack of dirty laundry. Owner communication was very clear and timely. Off the beaten path and not a lot of people, which is our preference. an hour to Niagara Falls and an hour to Letchfield State Park, which is fantastic. We like the property so much, we booked it again next year. "

"This property is located on a dead-end road so very little traffic. Beautiful views, great location and very friendly neighbors. We went into Rochester a few times and enjoyed our time there, but found we all liked just hanging at the property. Now, I read the reviews about the door lock not being safe and it was disappointing to find after the reviews about this the door still hasn't been replaced. With that being said, the neighborhood is very qiuet and rural. We would definitely come back."
