"We had a great stay at the Novotel Alster. It was our first visit to Hamburg. The hotel was clean and always smelt lovely. The staff were nice and everything requested was brought up straight away. The breakfast offering was fresh and lovely and I really liked the fresh lemon and ginger tea bar. You are on the door step of the under/overground which was fantastic and about 12 minutes away from the gorgeous town centre. I had no issues and look forward to coming and staying here again. "Right next to the train station and interchange for several lines, however that is the property's problem, the train can be very loud and the rooms are a little small. Otherwise the property isn't bad for a budget place to stay in Hamburg especially if you're just transiting through."
