"Our goal for our trip to Japan was to hike Mount Fuji, but one of the unexpected highlights was our stay at the Kappo Ryokan Uoichi! Post-hike, we moved from Tokyo to Osaka with a stop at the Ryokan in Shimada. Two families (eight of us) stayed at Kappo Ryokan Uoichi and had a wonderful time. The building is a 150-year-old restaurant, and the stay included a shared bedroom with eight futon beds, an adjacent family room, a private bathroom, and a shared onsen. "家族旅行８人で利用させて頂きました。 まず家に入るとエレベーターがあり、足の不自由な祖母にとてもありがたかったです。 別荘のようなつくりで、家族全員で大興奮でした！ リビング、ダイニング、各お部屋がとても居心地が良く、快適に過ごせました。 テラスでBBQをしたかったのですが、暑すぎて断念😭　もう少し涼しければ絶対やりたかったです。 お庭も広く、朝の散歩はとても快適でした。南国に旅行に来たような写真も取れて楽しかったです♪ チェックアウトが11時でしたので、朝うどんを食べに行ってから戻って片付け出来たのも有り難かったです。 冷凍庫が故障しているのか、一番強くしてもアイスが溶けてしまったのが残念です。修理をしていただいた方が良いかと思いました。 別荘感覚を味わえ、素敵な時間を過ごすことが出来ました。また機会があれば是非利用させて頂きたい施設だと思います。ありがとうございました。 "

"This Ryokan was absolutely perfect. Train station literally across the street. Quiet area and the property itself was spectacular. Rooms were spacious, food was delicious. Also, onsen near the lake was peaceful. I would highly recommend staying here."

"静かなところで建物も情緒がありくつろぐことができた。 食事は薬膳で普段なかなか食べないようなスタイルで、とても美味しかった。 旅行となると色々食べすぎてしまうものだが、体に負担をかけない量でちょうど良く、体を休めることができた。 お風呂も個室タイプでゆっくりできた。"
