"Great place to visit for families with kids. The food was excellent and the facilities are nice. The biggest drawback was the staff - although they were friendly, they were poorly trained and didn’t know how to execute in a properly 5 star setting."

"Staff was very attentive to our needs during breakfast if we wanted to order fresh crepes, french toast, pancakes or tea. Lots of options at breakfast and a 4 course meal for lunch/dinner, which was delicious. The rooms were very clean and when requested, we managed to get a family room. I would come back here again if I was visit Doha."

"The stay was good. Location was wonderful balcony was great. They handled everything extremely well. A special thanks to Widad who did an amazing job handling our room. Cleanliness of the room, especially bed coverings could have been better as it was a bit dusty. However Widad fixed that right away and we were given a room that was clean"

"Hotel is in a great location for walking the old town, the corniche and for getting to the port. One negative is the bathroom/shower door that is too short leading to water ending up all over the floor. Great helpful staff and excellent breakfast facilities "

"The Rixos Gulf Hotel is absolutely magnificent. From our arrival to our departure we experienced high quality service. The staff at the reception desk are welcoming and always ready to help even when we checked in late at night. The rooms are quite spacious with tv, iron, safe and coffe/tea facilities. "We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel, it was magnificent, when we arrived everything was set and ready in our room, even they put an extra bed for my 16 years old son without charge. The personnel in the hotel was very kind and friendly, every single one was willing to help you and always smiling, specially Mr. Srikant who received us and gave us good advises about Doha, where to go out, beaches and touristic places. Also he was always attentive to know how we were and how we felt in our room and in the hotel. The Hotel, its facilities and location are excellent, is full of restaurants and hypermarkets arround. Thank you so much for taking us and treating us like very special people."
