"This hotel has very friendly staff (especially Khalil at breakfast. He took excellent care of us, bringing us coffees and explaining that not only do they have a good spread, you can ask the kitchen for pancakes and such that are not at the buffet). The hotel is within walking distance of the National Museum. But, if you want to go anywhere else in Doha, uber is reliable and reasonably priced. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all that the Doubletree has to offer, like transfers to the beach club. However, we were only there pre cruise 2 nights. It is a very short ride to the cruise port."
