"I stayed for 3 nights at the hotel next to the metro station exit. Lovely old fashioned building. Friendly staff and very clean. Had dinner in their restaurant one night and was lovely sitting outside watchinf the souq go by. The gymn had some tired looking equipment but not a big problem. The pool is unheated and is a little chilly but very refreshing and I had it to myself. Very handy for the souq and to get on the metro. And there's a taxi rank at the opposite end of the souq."

"The hotel is one of 5 'boutique' hotels located in Souk Waqif, owned by the same group, which entitles you to use all the facilities in the 5 different hotels. The rooms were larege and very comfortable, decorated in an elaborate traditional Arabic style (e.g. fringed cushions and velvet sofas). Although my preference is for more contemporary style rooms and comfort, this hotel would suite those with a preference for more traditional style. "Room space very big but the bed itself way too small you can easily change to Queen size bed instead, after long hot day outside I prefer to have a hot bathtub for relaxing which you don't provide. Entrance to the Hotel is quite difficult you may provide bell boy outside the hotel so guests don't have to drag their suite case along the road."

"Convenient location near to the airport (20 min drive), spacious room (I stayed in 5th floor 508- looks like a suit , easily 3 ppl can stay and noise was not a problem), offers reasonable amount of hot and cold food for breakfast ( different varieties), near to some of the places of attractions - corniche, souk Wasif .. furniture (sofa set in the was old and faded). spa treatment available (PH floor), taxi is around the corner and uber is easy to get from the hotel . Overall experience good...

"The wifi was sick in the begining and it stopped working later on, they fixed it in the morning 5 mins before our check out . However, they upgraded me for a larger apartment and the size was quiet good.. The safety box was issuing a noisy sound. The hotel needs a rennovation specially the bathrooms"
