"We had a wonderful stay at Villa Hakone Stage. The Villa itself is quite spacious (we had a family of three staying) - a welcome change from the cramped living conditions in Tokyo. The villa was clean and very comfortable. The location is right next to both the "pirate" ship port and the ropeway to the top of Owakudani. "The apartment is very close to the train station. Extremely convenient location. Unlike other users' comments, we found the environment is not noisy at all. Very comfy and spacious. The owner's communications with us is polite and thoughtful. Overall, extremely good experience. Highly recomended."

"The room is great, and just meets your every need for the usual short getaway to Hakone. Very clean and modern, and everything prepared when we arrived. Communication is excellent. This is deep in the community of Hakone but walkable from the train station (by Japan’s walking distance standards). "

"We had a very brief stay and it was clean, comfortable and as described on the website. Very happy. About 8-10 min walk from train station, beautiful walk over the footbridge. Only issue is lack of restaurants after 19:00 and we never received our code to check in to the room-luckily staff was onsite to quickly assist!"

"We had an amazing stay. It was such a rejuvenating experience! The mat beds were probably the most comfortable sleep we’ve ever gotten and the always hot hot spring tub will be something I dream about forever. Food was amazing, although the portions are almost too much for one meal. We left each meal stuff beyond belief and partially dreaded not being hungry enough to eat the next one haha. Such an amazing stay, we would most definitely come back again!"
